The "YI", or "Yogi Index", is my own proprietary overbought/oversold indicator for the stock market. Significant bottoms usually occur after a -4 or -5 reading, but sometimes the zero line can act as a significant support level.
YI: -1
To buy: RMBS
Trying to bottom out: ETS
Extremely oversold now: XAU hourly.
Oversold now: GFI and HMY
Moderately oversold now: CHK, ECA, NVLS, OSX index, PTR, USU, XNG index, and the XOI index.
Trying to hold some rising trend line support: AMTD, BHI, CSCO, ENR, MOT, SO, and WY
Trying to hold some falling trend line support: GM, IFX, and MMC
Trying to hold the 28 DMA: MCRS
To no position for now: MEX index.
To hold for now: MTF and SFA
Trying to break above some falling trend line resistance: CY, EWM, and HPQ
Trying to break above the 28 DMA: ABS
Moderately overbought now: BMY, ERICY, and YCC
Up against some rising trend line resistance: CCC and NTES
Possible top here: DRG index, MRK, and the UTY index.
Break out in either direction on the way: OGE and PNRA
Anything posted here may be way off base of course.
